Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 8, 2026
The short version: we collect the minimum needed to stream your sessions, remember where you left off, and bill you accurately. We never sell your data.
1. Who we are
manifesting.com (“manifesting”, “we”, “us”) is operated by [Company legal entity name TBC]. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use our website, web app and audio-streaming service, how we use it, and the choices you have.
By creating an account or using the service you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Data we collect
We collect only what we need to run a calm, useful service:
- Account data — your name (optional), email address and a securely hashed password, or the identifier provided by your sign-in method.
- Listening activity — the sessions and programs you play, playback position (so you can resume on any device), favorites, streaks, mood check-ins and progress markers.
- Preferences — your chosen intentions, onboarding answers and settings.
- Technical data — IP address, browser and device type, and basic logs generated when you connect to our servers and audio streams.
- Support correspondence — messages you send us, so we can help you.
We do not collect the contents of any journal-style or personal reflection you keep on your own device unless you explicitly submit it to us.
3. How we use your data
- To provide the service: authentication, streaming, resuming playback across devices.
- To personalise your library — recommendations based on your intentions and listening.
- To send transactional email: receipts, trial and renewal reminders, account notices.
- To understand, in aggregate, which sessions help members most, so we can improve the library.
- To detect abuse, secure the service and comply with legal obligations.
4. Cookies and local storage
We use a small number of first-party cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and store playback state. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell data to ad networks.
You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser at any time; doing so will sign you out and may reset on-device preferences.
5. Payments (Stripe)
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. Your full card details are sent directly to Stripe and never touch our servers; we receive only a payment token, the card brand and last four digits, and billing status. Stripe processes your data under its own privacy policy, available at stripe.com/privacy.
6. Audio streaming
Sessions are streamed from our content delivery infrastructure. Standard delivery logs (timestamps, IP address, the file requested) are generated to serve the audio reliably, to honour your resume position and to account for content licensing. These logs are retained only as long as operationally necessary.
7. Sharing
We never sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run manifesting — payment processing (Stripe), cloud hosting and content delivery, and transactional email — each bound to use it solely to provide their service to us. We may also disclose data where required by law.
8. Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for billing, tax and dispute purposes. To delete your account and associated personal data, email support@manifesting.com from your account email address. We will confirm and complete deletion within 30 days, except for records we are legally required to retain.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us at support@manifesting.com to exercise any of these rights — we respond to every verified request.
10. Children
manifesting is not directed to children and is intended for users aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children; if you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app before they take effect, and the effective date above will be updated.
12. Governing law
This policy and any dispute arising from it are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction of incorporation of [Company legal entity name TBC], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. [Jurisdiction and venue to be confirmed by counsel.]
